Alesia outfit update January 2017

Why so serious? Alesia isn't smiling for this picture because she's thinking about the work ahead, but she's very happy with her looks for the next fight. This is a kit update I was itching to show you since producing the pics for the Akane fight.

We are adding an element of fashion and femininity to her outfit, in line with the black and white colour scheme she loves.

I selected a black tank with an angled cut. Sports bras are great, but this top really struck me as something original and cute to wear. I customised a white skirt with black trim. It's a bit short, but that will be handy to avoid collisions when making poses that make her move in the ring. It also means moving away from BillyT's trunks. They are jagged when used in movement, which makes renders look less natural and requires 2D post-processing to improve smoothing of the fabric.

For the feet, I made important changes to the surfaces of BillyT's boots for a more realistic "black leather with white stripes" look. This makes them closely resemble genuine Adidas gear, making up for the shortcomings of the textures when you take them out of the box.

Naturally, she will keep using white gloves for competition
